The Bank of Russia on October 9 in the framework of issuance program issued coins of base metal value of 10 rubles., dedicated to the joining of the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol to Russia.
The obverse: in the center of the disc – the indication of the denomination of the coin "10 РУБЛЕЙ" (10 RUBLES). Inside of the figure "0" – hidden pictures of the number "10" and of the inscription "РУБ" (RUB) visible by turns on changing angle of vision. Along the rim – circular inscriptions, on top: "БАНК РОССИИ" (BANK OF RUSSIA), on bottom – the date: "2014", to the left – the stylized image of a laurel branch, to the right – of the oak one.
The reverse №1: against a background of the counter outlines of the Peninsula Crimea in the centre – the date "18.03.2014", to the right – the relief image of the architectural monument "Swallow's Nest" near Gaspra, inscriptions along the rim, above: "РОССИЙСКАЯ ФЕДЕРАЦИЯ" (RUSSIAN FEDERATION), below: "РЕСПУБЛИКА КРЫМ" (REPUBLIC OF CRIMEA).

The reverse №2: against a background of the counter outlines of the Peninsula Crimea – the relief image of the Monument to the Scuttled Ships in the Sevastopol Bay, to the right – the date "18.03.2014", inscriptions along the rim, above: "РОССИЙСКАЯ ФЕДЕРАЦИЯ" (RUSSIAN FEDERATION), below: "СЕВАСТОПОЛЬ" (SEVASTOPOL).
